Jeremy Clarkson’s Irish girlfriend Lisa Hogan has provided an insight into the future of Clarkson’s Farm as fans prepare for its third season.
The former Top Gear presenter and the Irish born actress have been dating for some time now, with fans getting a glimpse into their relationship in his Amazon farming docuseries.
Jeremy was previously briefly married to Alexandra James and later to Frances Cain, with whom he has three children.
Clarkson’s Farm follows the TV personality, farming contractor Kaleb Cooper and the rest of their team as they run the Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
With the third season having premiered, with additional episodes arriving this week, Lisa has revealed that she is happy to keep making the show going forward.
‘As long as it’s educating people, and showing people how difficult farming is, and it’s helping people appreciate food in a way that they may not have before,’ she told the Mirror.
One of Lisa’s favourite aspects of the show is the lessons it teaches its viewers, with many of the farming hacks helpful for around the house.
She explained: ‘Maybe people will pop their bread in the freezer instead of throwing it out when they see how much work goes into making a loaf of bread.’
Season four of Clarkson’s Farm has already begun production, with filming beginning earlier in the year.
Meanwhile, Lisa has lifted the lid on some of the season’s ‘heartbreaking’ moments, including when Jeremy had to say goodbye to some of his pigs.
‘It was heartbreaking. Jeremy’s always loved pigs, I didn’t think I’d be that enamoured by pigs but I did get close to them as people will see.
‘Farming’s just sad. The animals become your friends and you’re isolated – there are certain farms that are really isolated – and the animals become your family.
‘When they become unwell, you’re losing members of your animal family. That scene will have a tremendous impact on audiences,’ she told the Daily Express.
